With an enthusiastic audience, a unique location and countless international guests, the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is a regular fixture and outstanding event on the international animation scene. Industry professionals value the numerous workshops, lectures, information meetings, and presentations as they provide a unique opportunity to make contacts and familiarize oneself with the latest developments. The competitive sections with prize money of over 50.000 Euros, attract the best and newest animation films from around the world. Since its foundation in 1982, the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film has provided continual support to artistic animated film and to young talents. With the Animation Production Day (APD) a joint venture from the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, FMX and Michael Schmetz Mediaconsult, the Festival provides another important business platform.
You are kindly invited to submit films produced after October 01, 2008 to one of the Festival's competition categories.

From October 10, 2009 you can register your film online and upload the film at Reelport.
The Life Animation Competition Crazy Horse Session – The 48h 3D Jam addresses to animation students from international film and art schools as well as independent animators and animation producers aged 30 years or younger. Five teams, each with two members, must develop an animated film within 48 hours.
The competition will start at midday on Wednesday, May 05 and will end at midday on Friday, May 07.

Inscrições abertas 4º Festival Nacional de Cinema e Vídeo Percepções
| Percepções Estão abertas as inscrições para o 4º Festival Nacional de Cinema e Vídeo Percepções. São quatro mostras: ficção, documentário, animação e criança. Os filmes e vídeos devem ser enviados até 10 de outubro/2009. Além das exibições diárias, o Festival vai oferecer (gratuitamente) apresentações artísticas, oficinas, palestras e debates sobre produção audiovisual. Conexão Vivo animações
Estão abertas as inscrições do Conexão Vivo Animações.
Os candidatos têm até 25 de outubro para criar um perfil no portal do
Conexão Vivo e postar duas obras de animação com duração mínima de 30
segundos. As obras não precisam ser inéditas, mas têm de ser
obrigatoriamente de autoria ou coautoria do candidato.
O valor total das premiações é de R$ 103 mil.

Festival Digital
Cultura Inglesa abre inscrição para festival digital
A organização do 14º Cultura Inglesa Festival, que se realizará em maio de 2010, abriu inscrições até o dia 10 de novembro para projetos de curtas-metragens digitais de ficção e animação.
No fim do processo seletivo, três projetos receberão a quantia de R$ 33 mil para a produção, e o melhor curta ganhará um prêmio no valor de R$ 5 mil. Os trabalhos deverão ser inéditos, inspirados livremente em uma obra literária britânica e dirigidos para o público de 12 a 17 anos. Ao todo, a Cultura Inglesa vai disponibilizar R$ 511 mil, entre patrocínios para a produção e concessão de prêmios.
A divulgação dos projetos selecionados será no dia 17 de dezembro. Mais informações podem ser encontradas no site do festival.

Estamos esperando pelo seu projeto inspirado em arte britânica nas áreas de teatro adulto e infantil, artes visuais, dança ou curta-metragem digital (incluindo animação) até 10 de novembro.
