The new edition of the international animation festival ANIMANIMA 2009 will be the most important event this autumn in the world of animation in Serbia. Apart from the attractive competition programme, we will be preparing a range of special programmes and film projections: the information about all of these will be soon available on the festival website.
This festival slogan for this year remains the same - ANIMANIMA, new inspiration, new experience. The fans of animation in Čačak are looking forward to having a swell time again in the Great Hall of the city's Cultural Centre, since ANIMANIMA is the meeting place for people and ideas. Experience a fragment of the terrific atmosphere at the last year's festival edition.
A four-day animation feast this year will be featuring films from all parts of the world, and the last day of the festival - Saturday 12th September 2009 - and the closing ceremony of the event, will give answers to the questions who will be awarded the festival Grand Prix, 'The Golden Peg-bar', and who will be the runner-ups and winners of the Silver and Bronze Peg-bar, as well as of the special awards of the international jury, classified in five categories. Animators, directors, producers, distributors: we will be expecting your films by 30th June 2009, and then we set on another thrilling journey in the wonderful world of animation - ANIMANIMA 2009.
