The motive for this contact is the opening of the entries for the Official competitive section in the festival, aimed for directors up to 30 years of age, as we are inviting you to submit your works and would be much praised to count with your participation.
Entry Form www.fest.pt FEST - International Youth Film Festival, is now one of the most important cultural events in Portugal, with all year TV Coverage. FEST – Training Ground which is a parallel activity of the festival, has received in Portugal participants from all over the world in its previous edition, and is set to guarantee a very good environment for the festival , as well as all the condition for all people interested in following the event. The credibility of this event is closely associated to the high quality of the participations such as the efforts made by the organization members, creating an opportunity for new directors to show their works, we are happy to cooperate with film schools new directors and Production companies .
The categories are in competition are: . A - Fiction . B - Documentary . C - Experimental . D - Animation . MUNICH INTERNATIONAL short film festival 2009: LAST CALL FOR ENTRIES
Due to an overwhelming number of requests, MUNICH INTERNATIONAL has extended its deadline to March 15th, 2009 – Send in your submissions today! The festival takes place directly prior to the "big" Munich Filmfest. Starting on Thursday, June 18 through Wednesday, June 24, 2009, the festival will showcase the world's best contemporary short films each night at the tradition-steeped Gloria Filmpalast in the heart of the Bavarian capitol.
Submissions are open to non-German language films of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, music video or other) from any nation of the world. Films must not have been shown in Bavaria at a festival, in a theatre or on television before, and must not exceed a length of 15 minutes. All non-English films must have English subtitles. The festival only screens 35mm prints. To submit a film, please register at Reelport.com – after registering, you will be guided through the necessary steps, from the filling of simple data requests to the automatic upload of a video file. You may also send a DVD preview copy to the address mentioned on the Reelport website. Please do not send your preview copy directly to the festival. Auch 2009 findet im Gloria Filmpalast am Stachus wieder das MUNICH INTERNATIONAL short film festival statt, dieses Jahr in der Kinowoche vom 18. bis zum 24. Juni. Aufgrund des großen Andrangs hat der Veranstalter, die Münchner Filmwerkstatt e.V., die Frist, in der Filmemacher aus aller Welt ihre Kurzfilme über die Onlineplattform Reelport.com beim Festival einreichen können, bis zum 15. März 2009 verlängert – deutschsprachige Filme sind allerdings nicht zugelassen. Aus diesen Einreichungen wird auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein spannendes Kurzfilmprogramm zusammengestellt, das ausschließlich aus Filmen bestehen wird, die noch nie in Bayern zu sehen waren. Mit dieser geballten Ladung Kurzfilm bietet das MUNICH INTERNATIONAL short film festival die konzentrierten Vorfilme als perfekte Einstimmung auf das "große" Filmfest München, das ihm ab dem 26. Juni folgt.
