Dear Artists and Animated Film Professionals, AniFest, the International Festival of Animated Films based in the zech Republic is opening the 2010 competition of 9th festival edition which will be eld in May
18 – 23 in a Renaissance South Bohemian spa town Trebon.

The 9the edition of AniFest 2010 – the specialized animated festival will be imbued
by the 100th birthday of a legendary film director Karel Zeman which we are going to be celebrating together with the film community worldwide. We would also like to invite you to the International Conference "Karel Zeman and His Contribution to the World Cinema" immediately preceeding the festival (May 17-18, 2010). Shoud you consider attending the conference, please make sure you contact us by e-mail for making the reservation at your earliest convenience at info@anifest.cz.
The AniFest 2010 juries will consist of personalities from the world of animation such as Mr Jiri Barta (renowned Czech film director and artist), Mr Heitor Capuzzo (film historian and university professo Brazil/USA), Ms Vibeke Sorensen (experimental film director, artist, pedagogist, Denmark/USA), Mr Alexey Alexeev (author of awarded animated films Pole Hole and KJFG no. 5 - LogJam, Russia/Hungary), Ms Monique Renault (artist, film director, France/Holland) and others.
We are honored to also announce that Ms Ludmila Zeman, the animator and illustrator and the daughter of Karel Zeman accepted the role of the AniFest 2010 Honorary President and Mr Giannalberto Bendazzi, the renowned Italian film historian, the author of the word famous publication Cartoons, One Hundred Years of Cinema Animation and the Honorary President of AniFest 2009 will be the Patron of AniFest 2010.
We look forward to receiving your film and wish it success at AniFest 2010 competition as well as at other festivals. We trust that you will also honor us with your presence joining our celebration of animatioin.

17th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film
Is now open for submissions!
With an enthusiastic audience, a unique location and countless international guests, the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is a regular fixture and outstanding event on the international animation scene. Industry professionals value the numerous workshops, lectures, information meetings, and presentations as they provide a unique opportunity to make contacts and familiarize oneself with the latest developments. The competitive sections with prize money of over 50.000 Euros, attract the best and newest animation films from around the world. Since its foundation in 1982, the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film has provided continual support to artistic animated film and to young talents. With the Animation Production Day (APD) a joint venture from the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, FMX and Michael Schmetz Mediaconsult, the Festival provides another important business platform.
You are kindly invited to submit films produced after October 01, 2008 to one of the Festival's competition categories.

From October 10, 2009 you can register your film online and upload the film at Reelport.
The Life Animation Competition Crazy Horse Session – The 48h 3D Jam addresses to animation students from international film and art schools as well as independent animators and animation producers aged 30 years or younger. Five teams, each with two members, must develop an animated film within 48 hours.
The competition will start at midday on Wednesday, May 05 and will end at midday on Friday, May 07.

Inscrições abertas 4º Festival Nacional de Cinema e Vídeo Percepções
| Percepções Estão abertas as inscrições para o 4º Festival Nacional de Cinema e Vídeo Percepções. São quatro mostras: ficção, documentário, animação e criança.
